We are looking for a full-time software developer to strengthen our team so we can make Provadie even better. Provadie is a software for appraisers that allows real estate appraisal reports to be compiled efficiently. This software consists of a mobile app, web frontend, and a cloud backend. Our app is intensively used by a large number of users every day. The app has been live for more than three years now, and since then, has been growing rapidly. This product is a great responsibility for our team, and that makes it even more fun to receive enthusiastic responses! What will your responsibilities be? (Dutch video)
We operate with a small yet experienced team where everyone is attuned to one another. You will be joining a team comprising of at least three other skilled full-time developers, all with backgrounds in higher education (HBO) and university. The technical accountability for Provadie rests with this team. This implies that your role, work, and ideas will be acknowledged by all those contributing to our product.
Provadie has been constructed within the Google Cloud environment, utilizing React as the frontend. We make full use of React through the hooks API. Alongside the web version of React, we also employ React Native for our mobile app. Go serves as our backend programming language. The backend’s advantage lies in the fact that the complete Google Cloud architecture is at our disposal.
What sets Provadie apart from all other IT companies, is our unwavering commitment to ensuring the functionality of the product, and our willingness to think beyond conventional boundaries. Does a particular feature only function on NodeJS? Not an issue – we will simply set up an additional server. Is there no existing API for an external party? We might just find a creative alternative solution! As long as it contributes positively to the product, everything is allowed. Of course, provided that it remains within legal, stable, and maintainable bounds.

What will you do?
At Provadie, you will deal with a very challenging product. An appraisal report consists of many different components that we want to make as easy as possible for the appraiser. We do this through complex algorithms, large datasets, and various API integrations. Additionally, the application must remain fast and user-friendly on every platform. Therefore, we are also developing an interesting software architecture that ensures the application is easily maintainable.
What we expect from you:
- A relevant educational background
- At least two years of experience as a software developer, possibly alongside studies
- Being able to think solution-oriented and logically
- Willingness to take responsibility
- Being able to tackle a project independently
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of working with React or a similar framework/library

Provadie, who are we?

We manage all aspects of our product ourselves, and thanks to a close-knit team, the feedback from support and sales is quick and effective. We have maximum influence over the final result and know our customers inside and out.
We have two spacious and cozy offices, one in the center of Arnhem and the other in the center of Eindhoven. Because of the homely atmosphere, it is nice to work here. However, you don’t always have to work from the office: we have an annual trip to Spain, and you can also work from home.
